CFRE Review Course

Tawny Basinger, CFRE will host a series of Prep Sessions on the second Friday of each month beginning on Friday, January 13; then continued throughout the Spring and Summer (February 10, March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9, July 14, and August 11)

Where:  Butler Center at the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS), Room 110

Time:   11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  (11:30 to 12:00 application prep/12:00 to 1:00 topic discussion)

Each session’s topic discussion will be led by an Arkansas professional holding their CFRE.  Topics will be aligned with the syllabus for the CFRE Review Course.

The Prep Sessions have been developed to aid and encourage fundraising professionals who CURRENTLY meet the criteria to sit for the exam**. AFP Arkansas will conclude the 2016 Prep Process by offering a two-day in-depth training "CFRE Review Course" on September 14-15. Registration information will be released soon.

This process can be time consuming, scary and expensive. Your AFP Arkansas Chapter is here to help offset some of these challenges by offering prep sessions, mentors, an official review course andspecial discounts and scholarships to our most focused and committed members accepting the challenge to earn their CFRE in 2017. 

When you meet the following criteria, the following reward is offered:

CRITERIA: Current AFP Arkansas Chapter Members who attend 75% of the Prep Sessions (6 of the 8),  submit (POSTMARK deadline) formal application to CFRE International by September 29, 2017, register for the CFRE Review Course hosted by AFP Arkansas Chapter AND sit for the exam November 30, 2017

REWARD:  Receive a Scholarship for 50% off Initial Certification Application and Examination Fee of $700 (Value of $350).


 **The CFRE Prep Sessions are only offered to current AFP Members who meet minimum eligibility requirements to take the CFRE exam in 2017.  The CFRE process requires a comprehensive written application followed by a written exam.  Individuals interested in the CFRE designation must have at least five years of paid, professional practice in fundraising, meet all of the minimum eligibility requirements, and pass the written exam. For complete eligibility requirements, please follow the link to
