The Director of the Annual Fund must have a convincing track record in fundraising, development, or sales, preferably with an annual fund program. This key leader has direct contact with diverse, passionate, intellectual, and extremely well-educated contributors and volunteer base. The Director of the Annual Fund will also oversee the UA Little Rock Campus Campaign employee giving program. An experienced and motivated individual with strong strategic and tactical management skills and an unflagging commitment to purpose will help the institution realize its long-term financial goals is imperative. Under the direction of the Executive Director of Development, the National Director of Development is charged with managing relationships and securing support from alumni and donors nation-wide who are capable of making major gifts to the University. This individual will manage a personal portfolio of 100 – 150 prospects with the majority of these prospects residing outside the state of Arkansas. This position serves as a valued member of the university fundraising team with responsibility for the identification, engagement, solicitation and stewardship of existing and prospective donors across the country. This position will develop and execute strategies for effective cultivation of prospects in a portfolio, will engage prospects, and solicit and close gifts.
